Our Mission Is

to be a strategic partner to governments and non-government organizations (NGOs) in the development and expansion of hearing loss identification and treatment programs, educational programs for children who are deaf or have hearing loss, and higher education training programs to address the critical shortage of hearing health care in developing countries.

Our Goals Include:

  • Partnering with organizations to develop and implement strategic plans to help identify children who are deaf or hard of hearing and help their parents determine the best educational setting for them.
  • Providing audiologic testing, audiologic management, and academic consulting to schools for the Deaf and hard of hearing.
  • Developing training programs for hearing technicians in developing countries that do not have enough audiologists. We will work with universities and training institutions to develop audiology degree programs to help meet the critical shortage of hearing health professionals.
  • Encouraging professionals in related disciplines to provide services in specific settings as needed. These professions include but are not limited to ENT physicians, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, recreational therapists, and social workers.
  • Conducting research and publishing information about current and best practices for hearing-health service trips and hearing loss prevalence data.
  • Encouraging initiatives that provide employment to individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
